
Karamoko voyage fréquemment à l'étranger à Europe et aux pays africains, d'ouest et avoisinants pour jouer et enseigner. Il enseigne aussi à à la maison dans la Guinée et a aussi une affaires d'exportation de djembe prospérant.
Karamoko was born in 1976 in Kindia, Guinea, West Africa.He began his training in traditional Malinke rhytyms in 1983 with his father, Monri Daman. (Monri Daman is a member of Ballet Armee de Guinee and also plays with Famadou Konate.)
In 1993, Karomoko joined the then fledging Ballet Saamato and in only five years became the Ballets premere soloist. In 2004 he and his friends joined forces to create Baga Fote percussion. Karamoko has appeared on many guinean rhytym albums including his own, "Methode de Djembe with Karamoko Daman" (2003), Mamady Keita's "Hamanah" and "Mamady Lee", Famadou Konate's "Famadou Konate le Maitre Djembe", two Ballet Saamato albums and Baga Fote's 2005 freshman release Oule Honon.
Karamoko frequently travels abroad to Europe and neighboring west african countries to play and teach. He also teaches at home in Guinea and also has a thriving djembe export business.
